Sir Nicholas Winterton spent a busy morning at Lower Park as part of MPs 'Back to School Day'. He was invited to join the School Council for the first part of the morning debating the issue of Global Awareness and was impressed by the maturity and level headedness of its members. The whole school listened to Sir Nicholas telling them what his job entailed. He perhaps hadn't bargained on being asked how old he was in the question and answer session that followed! And before you ask, no I'm not telling you!

Before leaving he was able to see Year 4 children showing off their ICT skills in the computer suite.
