After twenty two years, Lower Park's school caretaker, Sheila Beaumont is finally hanging up her mop and dusters and looking forward to a well-earned retirement.
The school put on a special celebration evening to remember and appreciate Mrs. Beaumont's dedicated work throughout the school. The evening began with the school choir singing (including 'Fix You' - her favourite choir song) and the School Band playing (including 'The Lambada', her favourite band tune). It was followed by a buffet and a number of tributes.
Over the last couple of weeks, friends, family, staff and children have been flocking around Sheila to shower her with good wishes, cards and presents. She chose a new bike for her retirement gift from the school and this was presented to her together with a commemorative plate from the PTA, a free pass to Tatton Park from the Local Authority, and a plant and garden gift token from the Governing Body.
