Who are we?
The Lower Park School Council are a group of children that are nominated from their class to represent the class, there are two representatives for each class. Every week they feed back the matters that we have discussed in the meeting. In assembly the chairman tells the Juniors what they have discussed in the last meeting as well.
What our Head Teacher Mr Coulson says:
"The School Council is the 'children's voice' and gives them the opportunity to make a real contribution to their education.....and their decisions and ideas will have to be considered by the teachers, governors and the PTA."
What do we do?
In the past the Council have talked about footballs, playground games, school meals, planters, and school pets.
