Karate Excellence - November 09
Our School Karate Club held exams in School last week and all who were tested progressed up to the next stage belt colour and received certificates. Well done!

Several children from Lower Park were able to enter the Kenshinkan (a type of Karate) England Championships which were held at Wilmslow Leisure Centre last Sunday. This was a national Competition and there were approximately 80 children taking part of all ages and belt colours. The children were in a knock-out competition and had to ‘perform’ the Karate Katas in pairs in front of judges, other parents and students, which was very daunting for them, but they all did well and brought credit to themselves and Lower Park.

Those children who entered the competition and did so well were: Ellie A, Joseph B, Hollie H, Daniel K, Aidan M, Max M and Rachel W.

Well done all the children in the Karate Club.
