World Book Day 2008

This year we celebrated World Book Day by extending it to one week. As in previous years children came to school dressed as their favourite book character - and it wasn't only the children who dressed up as you'll see below.

During the week the school was involved with literacy work and the children all received a book token too which they can use against the cost of a book.

Here are some photos taken on World Book Day itself (Thursday). Can you spot some of the book characters? Now who could that be dressed as Fred Flintstone?
